Vaccine "AGAINST ESTOMATITIS INDIANA and NEW JERSEY VIRUS". The vesicular estomatitis has great importance, not only because it is a disease that causes huge economic loss, but also because it presents/displays very similar clinical symptoms to that of the Foot and Mouth disease. Colombia presents endemic zones of this disease, due to its geography and climate.
The injuries caused by the estomatitis are: inter-digital damages of vesicular type in epithelial weaves of the mouth, inter-digital spaces and mammary glands.
This vaccine was developed by LIMOR DE COLOMBIA S.A., with the purpose of preventing the propagation of the vesicular estomatitis, since this disease is zoonotic therefore of public health interest.
